Class goal was to get 100% pass rate for first time NCLEX taking and we did it!! I'm so proud of our class and so excited that we did it for ourselves and also for our department. I knew that the last girl from our class was taking it on the 31st of August and I was sleeping after work 2 days later when the texts started coming in that our classmates name was posted on DOPL and it was official that we were 100%. We were very excited to say the least. We're only the second class to get it in the SUU nursing department's history and so it's a very exciting feeling and kind of a proud moment for our class. As we were all texting or facebooking back and forth I just wanted to be all together in the same town so we could go out and celebrate together, instead I celebrated with going back to work for another night shift : ) Alan was nice enough to send me this a few days ago...
It's very exciting to see that picture hanging in the office of the new nursing department. Now I just get to look forward to our free dinner in November and hope that everyone or at least majority of everyone can make it back to the CC : )
