my mothers daughter.

The other day(Sunday) I came to my parents house after work. They had had stake conference that day so they ate an earlier dinner(sometimes I can catch the tail end of the action if I make it off on time) so my mom was the only one home. We began talking when all of a sudden she said I got a call from Tecante today, which is the area my brother is currently serving in down in Mexico. I was thinking along the same lines of course when she said "scared me to death! and I could barely understand the person at first and I was so panicked thinking did he get hit by a bus? is he okay?" then suddenly she paused looked at me and said....
"I deserve a daughter like you Brittany!" thank you mom. Glad you finally see my stressed out, worst case scenario thinking, and worry wart ways comes from you : )

anywho to finish the story, because it's a good one, a ward member from my brothers area called with Taylor sitting right next to him saying he was bending the rules a little bit to call and tell my mom that his wife was headed to Utah county for a few months and wanted to give my mom her cell phone number so when she goes to head back to Mexico they can meet up and she'd take some delivery's to Taylor for us seeing as how she'll be driving back. WAHOO! this will work out perfectly since Taylor has been wanting a new camera to replace his which from what he says will be dying real soon, and now we won't have to play the guessing game of it making it to him via mail or not. My mom asked to talk to taylor and funny thing was the ward member responded I don't think we should bend the rules that much. haha tisk tisk mom.
The best part at the end of the conversation the ward member told my mom how much they appreciated Taylor and how great of a kid he is. He's always willing to help, doing the right thing, and everywhere he goes he has kids hanging on him. All the kids love him.
