I may be 23 and single but I'm happy. My great friend Jeni and I were talking recently about how people think that you haven't accomplished anything in life until you've taken the plunge and we talked about how frustrating it is, because life can still be lived and adventures can be had, and most of all accomplishments can be made being single. best part is, we can take off for these type of things and not have to check in with anyone, worry about what we're going to make for dinner beforehand, and don't even think twice about having to find a babysitter. It's great. granted all you married people and moms are great and I admire what you do, but just sayin utah county is rough, Utah is rough! anywho enough of the tangent...
I celebrated my golden birthday the whole week long! I had work off so I took full advantage and did something each day and counted it as celebrating my birth. Festivities included but were not limited too: lonesome dove movie afternoon with channy; exploring SLC with Jeni including her introducing me to another great food place; seeing the new and final harry potter 3D style; 7 peaks day with the fam and triplet clan; kids rodeo in Fairview; seeing captain America with brookie and a row of buddies also eating noodles and company for the first time; watching the cutest kids aka my niece and nephew in my parents ward pioneer day parade; dinner at Texas roadhouse followed by the Fiesta Days rodeo in Spanish fork with the ladies and post rodeo cowboy stalking : ), and picnic up the canyon with the fam on the 24th.
It was a fantastic week full of lots of photos of course. some of my favorites include...

I obviously thought more people would be joining me in not getting ready for the day prior to parade and pancake breakfast festivities. I was wrong!
