To be wed, not to be confused with to be jolly : ) jk.. but seriously everyone is getting married these days and it's evident by how many receptions I've been too as well as how many invites I get. this summer is just packed with my friends marrying off. Here's some marriage events I've attended so far this summer...
My good friend Amanda got married last month. I met amanda last year at SUU and I love her to death. She married Drew, great Polynesian guy so with his culture and traditions the wedding was definitely a party! Including: Hawaiian food, hula's, flowers, strange siblings, serenading, and exploring : ) Candice and I drove to Salt Lake to go and our good friend Vanessa met up with us up there, it was really good to see her again! oh and did I mention that Candice caught the bouquet?? yup she's next in line : )

Next up, exactly one week later, Candice and I found ourselves attending our old roommate from summer '09 Rachel's wedding to Mr. Jonathan Ditto (coolest last name!!). However two weeks before the wedding we were able to go to her bridal shower which was a blast, where her folk dancing friends threw her a bollywood themed shower, we all had bindy's and everything. Her reception was also a party!! Including Gelato, chicken salad sandwiches, watermelon, groom's cute brothers and dancing!!

okay I may have caught the bouquet of Rach's but the myth doens't apply to me : ) and I got it because she told us all to fight for it so that's exactly what I did. fought so hard I demolished that thing. shame I ruined it, really was pretty before I touched it.

however this would have to be my favorite picture of the evening : ) no we did not know this picture was being taken, we didn't pose like that on purpose. However I found it hilarious when it showed up on Jon's brother's facebook album a few days later.
