Class of 2010

congrats SUU nursing class of 2010!!!! Since i was going to be in Provo during graduation on Saturday I attended the pinning ceremony(it's a nurse's thing), and it's embarrassing to admit, but I will justify it after the semester I've been through, that I started crying. yup no graduates were in tears, just little ol' me in the audience. Here's why:
Everything suddenly hit me!! and it all became so overwhelming that my sleep deprived, emotional self couldn't hold it in anymore. As i stared at the graduates I couldn't help but picture my class, that will be us in one year from now! I also realized that this class who I had gotten closer too than any of the other classes weren't going to be around next year.
I remember when Candice first got accepted to the program and I got a text message from her while I was sitting in my Maymester class with Samha, then to come home and celebrate together. also I remember Tamara getting accepted and everyone talking about it at work. I attended their pledge ceremony at the first of the year (with Robert Warby hahaha) where they made their pledges as nurses, and was also Candice's first live IV stick.
After that I continued to live through the nursing program aka stress out and hate life vicariously through them that first year as I turned in my application and hoped to go through it all for myself. I got accepted and went through this first year with constant advice from them, old papers to use for examples of what the professors wanted, study guides, etc.. which helped make my load a little easier.

Basically what I'm trying to say is congratulations class of 2010. can't believe the 2 years is already over. Thanks for making me cry visualizing myself in your shoes in a year from now, as well as making me realize how much I'm going to miss running into you in the dungeon next year : ) best of luck to you!!
