Summer To Do List and Unemployment

I'm officially unemployed! whoo! It actually hasn't fully hit me yet, but I worked my last shift at Emerald Pointe today, making me currently labeled as unemployed. With the stresses of my position that tend to build up occasionally I never thought I'd say this but I'm going to miss that place. Emerald Pointe has been my second home and pretty much my life for almost two years now, the co-workers and residents are like family and saying goodbye has been harder than I thought it would be. Luckily I have sooo many good memories I'm taking with me and lots of experience. My co-workers were so awesome about my last day, in fact so awesome that this is what I discovered of my car when I went to leave...




I was laughing so hard! The balloons were hilarious but the tying them together with yarn was genius. Then I also got a great basket of goodies to munch on on my drive home Monday, however I was sure to let them know that the treats probably wouldn't survive until then ; )


Like I said, my co-workers are amazing! thank you to everyone and I'm going to miss you all.

To avoid being depressed about quitting my job and the end of semester blues of everyone going their separate ways (as well as my room looking more and more depressing with every wall hanging taken down)I decided to start my traditional summer to do list to remind me of all the things I'm looking forward to this summer. Here are just a few, and keep in mind feel free to invite yourself to do these with me : )

-Play with Jenny until May 4th
-Visit Jenny in Houston(hopefully!!)
-Turn 21! in exactly 3 months from today
-Take back over "the spot" at seven peaks and become a seven peaks junkie again.Also includes get tan
-Meet and hold my niece Kezney and begin spoiling her like crazy
-BBQ's
-Sunday dinners at my parents
-Razor scooter Provo Canyon
-Get Jamba's any day I want
-Dancing at studio 600
-Baptisms at all the cluster temples: Draper,Jordan River, Mt.Timpanogos, SLC, and Provo
-Visit Suzie in Wayne county
-Walk to visit Jessie and Danny instead of driving 3 hours
-Working out faithfully
-Finish twilight series and find other books to read for pleasure
-Hike the Y
-Soccer games
-Take a trip back to visit the Burg
-Watch Jessie get fat as baby Brenny grows : )
-Bonfires
-Boating/learning how to wake board
-Making lots of new friends, getting back in touch with old friends
-Have so much fun!!!!

I'm sure my list will grow as summer draws closer, it always it. I'm already excited about it. Celebrating unemployment by making up a to do list I actually look forward to completing.
