This year April fools was of course on a Friday and it just so happened to be my day to present this big News Hour presentation for my class, my partner Cyndi and I had to do something! So after brainstorming and coming up with nothing we(Melissa, Cynd, and myself) took off to walmart for inspiration. Let's just say being a nurse has it's advantages : )
After a quick phone call to my old pharmacology professor to double check a medication we were back at home cooking up a concoction of cupcakes that turned our class's urine orange or red depending on how many cupcakes they ate. They all fell for it and didn't think a thing of us bringing treats on April fools day since we were presenting. It was awesome, until a girl in our class who in her recently impregnated body with a heightened taste realized just how bitter they tasted, and then we were busted! oh well I still enjoyed it. hope everyone took advantage of this fabulous day.
John Wayne also made an appearance in the nursing department for the special day, naturally it was a photo op moment.
