Intravenous Therapy
I did my first live IV start, and passed!!! My friend Cyndi (who is also in my class) chose to pass off on each other and yesterday was the big day. I was kinda nervous because no matter how many times I stuck those mannequins a real, live, breathing and beating person was going to be totally different, not to mention the fact that Cyndi's veins roll. great.
But it really did turn out great. I was able to find a good vein, stick her, and thread my catheter without any problems and on the first try, HALLELUJAH!
