so long sweet summer

when I moved to Provo for the summer unemployed and without a real plan I knew I was going to have an adventure but I completely underestimated just how amazing this summer has turned out to be! Hence why the depression has hit...summer ends and I'm moving back to Cedar City in 8 days.

This is not totally a bad thing because even though I am leaving home I am returning to the place which has become my second home over the past two years, however after this summer I almost feel like I'm moving away from home for the first time all over again.

Things I'm going to miss about Provo:
-Sunday night dinners with the fam and massage time with my mom.
-7 Peaks, my summer haven
-little brother dates
-multiple radio station options
-My niece Keznee she's going to grow so much in between visits
-Courtyard at Jamestown(seriously have loved working here! everything about it is awesome from the automatic soap dispensers in the bathrooms to the duck pond out back)
-going to my parents house when I'm bored and my roommates are gone
-Jamba Juice
-sharing a room with Candice. never thought I would have said it but I'm going to miss having the slumber parties every night
-BYU 57th Ward:thanks for being the social summer ward I needed and so much fun!
-my apartment/condo. it is sooo nice!
-Utah county guys. Zoobie stereotype or not I sure have enjoyed the eye candy this summer ; )
-Provo Canyon. not only did I longboard up there this summer but I also ran it, motorcyle rode through it and partied in it.
-Tuesday night Red Mango Tradition. Dang I love that yogurt.
-J.Love and not being here when little Max is born
-The return of J.Pate
-Macey's ice cream and grocery shopping
-Getting away with running yellow lights and speeding
-Mall access
-multiple restaurant and activity options
-travel distance to northern utah/SLC
-all my new friends I made! so many fun and amazing people who made my summer memorable
-My family! Love them all so much

Granted there are many more reasons that I really can't compile them all into one list! but I also can't be one-sided so

Here are some things I'm looking forward to in Cedar City...
-The CC Girls reunited! no longer spread out all over the state
-Walmart! I'm so excited to not have to travel 15 minutes to walmart
-Dance Parties! the CC girls are dancing queens
-The endless activities the first week of school
-finally starting nursing school : )
-Gold's Gym Member ship. for some reason I'm way better at using mine in Cedar
-Making even more new friends!
-knowing every single roommate before moving in
-studying in the Library. I missed it a lot spring semester
-Emerald Pointe. being back with my friends and "family". Well that is if they'll have me back...

I still have many grand adventures planned for the next 8 days so summer's not totally over yet so here's to an absolutely amazing summer and to a new school year full of friends, fun, studying, trials, and adventures. Bring it on : )
